Dramatist Victorino Abellanosa is the brother of Ramon and Onofre Abellanosa. Born in Pardo on December 23, 1903, he is the son of Baldomero Abellanosa, well-known composer in Pardo. He started writing plays in 1921 and has to his credit some 20 plays, mostly zarzuelas, including Ninoy, Marti, King Solomon, and others. His plays have been staged in Cebu, Bohol, Leyte and Negros.

He passed away in 1968.
