U Z. Eliserio got his Masters in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, where he currently teaches popular culture at the Departamento ng Filipino at Panitikan ng Pilipinas. He primarily sees his works (stories, essays, plays) as entertainments AND ideological attacks. His novella, Sa mga Suso ng Liwanag, was published early 2006. He is currently working on a novel.
