Alexander Martin Remollino is a poet and journalist. He is a charter member of Akdang_Bayan, an organization of writers that aims to create and propagate works culled from and would be part of the life of the people, for the advancement of a prosperous, free, and democratic society. He is secretary-general of the progressive poetry group Kilometer 64, which is a member of the Artists for the Removal of Gloria (ARREST Gloria). He writes articles for Bulatlat.com and the Philippine Graphic , and is a member of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines.
One of his poems, "Tuparin Natin ang Banta ng Ating Panahon," was set to music and used in a music video produced by ARREST Gloria. The video won second prize in the 18 th Gawad CCP para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video.
