Launch of Daryll Delgado’s story collection and Metro Serye’s fiction issue edited by Mookie Katigbak at Blacksoup Cafe

After the Body Displaces Water, Daryll Delgado’s first book, and Issue 2 of Metro Serye, a literary magazine edited by poet Mookie Katigbak, will be launched on Friday, February 17, at Blacksoup Café + Artspace, Maginhawa Street, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City. The event will start at 7:30 PM.

Theater stars Kalila Aguilos and Bituin Escalante, and award-winning fictionist Exie Abola will be reading from Delgado’s book, and Metro Serye's featured writers Margie De Leon and Anne Lagamayo will read their pieces from the magazine. Poet and musician Easy Fagela, along with Aimee Delgado and Jj Diaz, will also perform some music.

Poets Anina Abola and Andrea Teran will host the event. Limited copies of the book and the magazine will be sold at special discounted rates.

After the Body Displaces Water and Metro Serye are published by the UST Publishing House. Prof. Rosario Cruz-Lucero wrote the afterword for the book.
