RAPlagtasan at Paco Market featuring MTV

PAF is a month-long and nationwide activity that aims to promote Philippine culture and the arts, highlighting the empowerment of the Filipino creativity and imagination. This 2012 celebration will be a call to hope, a challenge to act, an invitation to commit, a celebration of creativity and an affirmation of Filipino’s inner strength that can be a catalyst for social transformation.

One of the Festival component activities is a collaborative work in Paco Market Activity Center. For 2012 the Paco Market Activity Center will be the seat of culture showcasing and promoting Philippine culture and arts through small format art workshops and performances. As of present, hundreds of students from nearby schools gather in the compound wander aimlessly, not understanding the significance of Paco Market in History. This project aims to give these students, Paco and nearby communities-Pandacan and Sta. Ana the redeveloped Paco Market as a place for learning, healing and enriching the spirit with the joys of our culture and historical heritage.

In line with this, we have the privilege to invite you to the RAPLAGTASAN for the Ani ng Sining sa Paco Market on February 17 (2pm). The triumverate of Mike Coroza, Teo Antonio, and Vim Nadera will perform.
