Birds
by Alfrredo Navarro Salanga
With no lips,
how can birds sing?
Ah, but birds have wings
that know wind
and flight,
They have wings that know
the freedom of wind
and flight.
Knowing this,
their wings
sing.
Their wings know
how free
song can be in wind
and flight.
The lips of birds
are in their wings, then,
Wings that come alive
in wind
and flight.
