poetry
the angsty housewife writes haiku
by Babeth
Lolarga
Heat coils around me
Breathless I reach for relief
The tinkle of ice
Wounding words form scabs
Little rubies for scratching
Harden my heart please
Daughter treads water
Air and sun kiss her round head
Swim back to mother!
Cerebral calmness
Comes as rare as sun shouting
Green-grayish colors
My children will have
None of their mother’s despair
Will choose light from shade
